Fax2Email

Fax2Email converts a hard copy to an electronic .tif and forwards the .tif as an image to designated (mapped) email address. The VBC fax2Email supports fax groups 1 – 5 based on the T30 fax standards to provide for reliable and fast transmission.

PC2Fax

PC2Fax is the reverse technology of Fax2Email. PC2Fax enables the VBC user to fax any document from a personal computer (“PC”) to a fax destination using the FoneWorx fax driver and software. Full functionality, including daily audit trails, balances, successful and unsuccessful transmissions are provided to the use

Data Storage

Data storage provides the VBC user with the ability to store a wide range of documents including: Word, PowerPoint, Excel and tagged image files, in fact any document that you can email.  Data storage enables the VBC user to create folders and search for documents using various search criteria.  Documents can be accessed 24\7 and from anywhere in the world.  StorDoc assists the VBC user to comply with Acts such as:  The Financial Intelligence Centre Act (“FICA”) and the Financial Advisory and Intermediary Services Act (“FAIS”).

SMS

SMS enables the VBC user to send single or bulk SMS’s  to all mobile networks and to Telkom SMS subscribers.  The service enables the recipient to send a reply SMS to the sender.  FoneWorx’s SMS backbone is connected to Vodacom,MTN,Cell C and Telkom which enables the user to send bulk SMS’s.  All SMS’s “sent” or “received” are date and time stamped and the status of delivery is logged.

Virtual PABX

The VBC ‘Virtual PABX” enables your business to enjoy the full functionality of a large switchboard with a range of features including: answering multiple calls for a promotion (over 400 calls simultaneously), interactive voice response features, breakout features, “follow me” message facility, record a call and much more.  All these features provide a professional front-end without an expensive front-end facility.  Voice Over Internet provision is a facility that offers calls at drastically reduced costs and great flexibility.

Forms and Precedents

With VBC forms and precedents you no longer need to spend unnecessary time searching for legal and miscellaneous forms.  You can now select from a menu of ‘pre-packed’ forms including: opening a close corporation, amending a close corporation, general power of attorney, property leases and a whole lot more

Simply select the form you require and print out the form after confirming payment.  Quick and easy.

Telecommunication Services

As a VBC you can now select from a broad range of Public Switched Telephone Network sevices offered by Telkom.  All you need to do is select the service, complete the application form and we will do the rest.  You can now order a range of sevices from VBC including Smart Access, ADSL, Diginet, Spacestream and a whole lot more.

Email

As a VBC user you can elect to receive emails using your unique use number as your email address.

Accounting

The VBC can do all of his\her accounting online using Accpac, at a fraction of the cost of owing his\her own accounting package.  The VBC user will be able to do everything that he\she could on his\her own package (and more) without worrying about security, backup’s, licensing and support.  In fact, FoneWorx can even produce customized accounting reports for the VBC user.  To be released at the end of Q1, 2006.

Survey Online

SurveyOnline is a solutions-based application that puts your business in direct touch with your customers, competitors, employees, general market or website visitors.  Your VBC SurveyOnline is a ‘one stop shop” for all your marketing and research needs.  SurveyOnline is a South African Market Research (SAMRA) application which is built on delivering actionable marketing research solutions which incorporate the latest methodologies including Internet, SMS, IVR and USSD.  You can select from a range of generic surveys or we can customize to suit individual needs.

Credit Card Facilities

With the VBC credit card facility you can turn your web into an e-commerce enabled application to accept credit card payments.  Credit card payments can be made on line which saves you time and money and places your business in the 21st century.  If you are out of your business or “off-line” you can turn your PSTN (Telkom) phone into a point of sale device to accept credit card payments from your customers.  The facility is available 24\7 365.

Make a Call

The VBC Internet telephony or voice Over IP (VOIP) will enable you to utilize your broadband connection to communicate with other VBC Internet subscribers at no charge and to make calls to non-VBC subscribers on either PSTN or PLMN networks at dramatically lower costs.

PayOneTime

PayOneTime allows VBC users the ability to not only consolidate monthly bills for a single payment, but also the ability to store statements from creditors in a folder system which is easily accessible from anywhere in the world.  PayOnTime allows the VBC user to set up “designated payees” in a simple format that allows participating creditors to remit statements to the PayOneTime portal.  VBC users will then receive an SMS when each statement arrives and users can then use various bearer technologies, such as: Web, IVR, SMS, to determine the amount the user wishes to pay for each creditor and make one instruction to pay.  The user’s account will be debited for the aggregated amount and each creditor will be paid the specified value.

Conference Call

VBC users can now make multi-party calls by using the conference call IVR platform.  The originator of the conference call will establish the number of participants (max 30) and submit an SMS to each participant with dat,time and PIN to “join the conference” .  On the designated time each participant will phone the relevant access number, enter the PIN and be announced as participant. 

Diary Service

The VBC reminder service enables the user to predefine the date and time the user wishes to send a customized SMS or email to a specified person as an ‘event reminder”.  You can preset as far into the future as you desire by simply using the calendar, date and time facility to provide a full event planner.  Full logs are provided to show the user what are in the event logs for execution or historical events.
